Developed as a companion for the Hill Acme Ball Forging Machine, the Ball Rounder enhances the concentricity and surface finish of forged balls. Before rounding, forged balls have minor surface irregularities, such as polar caps and flash rings. The Hill Acme Ball Rounder presses and rolls these imperfections away resulting in a finished ball with a uniform, spherical surface that provides long wear life in Ball and SAG mills.
